What if there was an easy way to make progress within local Citi branches? Many parents go through this age-old ritual. Their toddler’s piggy bank gets full and they have to take it to the bank. We're bringing this rite of passage into the 21st century and using it to make a lasting educational impact.
We created special edition Citi coin wrappers, with fun, beautifully designed graphics that inspire kids to count. An iPad app works with the new coin wrappers or “Toddler Tubes” to make an engaging and educational interactive experience. The app also facilitates the eventual deposit. Families can then deposit the money into an account and Citi matches a percentage of the contribution.
